Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid direct sun for long periods, as this can dry your plant.
Soak your air plant in room-temperature water for 10–30 minutes once a week depending on your climate. Shake gently after soaking and place upside down to dry completely.
Good airflow is essential. Avoid fully enclosed containers or areas with stagnant air.
Tillandsia prefer temperatures between 50–90°F. Avoid placing near heaters, air conditioners, or fireplaces.
Your plant may be a little stressed after travel. Please water by following your care instructions once it has settled into its new environment. Slight curling of the leaves is normal and will resolve with proper hydration.
With consistent light, water, and airflow, your air plant will thrive and may even bloom as it settles into your home. Pro tip: mist monthly with our Tilly Spray Fertilizer to boost new growth and blooms.
